Giving

Giving is an important part of our worship, as we follow Jesus by giving our whole lives to him including our money. In the Bible, we discover that the priority for financial giving is our heart attitude and not the amount we give, as this will vary for everyone.

We find that the Bible encourages us to give cheerfully and sacrificially, as a way of thanking God for his gift of life to us in Jesus. This means we need to read what the Bible says about giving, think carefully and pray about what is right to give to God’s work through the church.
