Coronavirus Updates

Last updated 15th September 2020

Here you will find all the most up to date information about how Barton Church is responding to the Coronavirus pandemic. Keep checking in with this page for updates and changes.

We will continue to meet online for our Sunday gatherings and life group. However, in line with government guidance we will be restarting in person youth and kids activities in the coming weeks. We are also planning in person prayer meetings from October in both Canterbury and Faversham and in the mean time we are strongly encouraging people to meet together on Sunday mornings, up to a maximum of 6 people in a home, to watch our 10:30 live stream.

If you are a student we want to welcome you to Canterbury and would love to help you grow in faith. You are very welcome to join us online and in person and please contact for information about our student work.

Barton Church Live
You can find us every Sunday at 10:30am on our YouTube Live channel by clicking here. We are starting a new series called Lockdown Lessons, reflecting on the last few months and how we can grow individually and as a church.

Caring for our congregations and community
At this difficult time we are working to support those in our congregations in Canterbury and Faversham as well as the wider community. If you are in need of any help, please do let us know by emailing

Christianity Explored
We are excited to announce our Christianity Explored has now started! If you would like to be part of it please let us know or contact us for more information to see if this course would be right for you.

Sign up to our weekly emails for more regular updates about our provisions and services by filling in one of our next steps forms.
