We are kicking off the festive season at Barton with our annual carol service. This year it will be in Canterbury College on the 14th of December – a great opportunity to sing together and enjoy mulled wine and other Christmassy refreshments.
On Sunday the 15th of December, the children of Barton will be reminding of Christmas story. Come along to Canterbury in the morning or Faversham in the afternoon.
As the school term comes to an end, join us for a Quiz and Carols Sunday service on the 22nd of December in both Canterbury and Faversham.
Barton will be joining with other churches in Faversham to spread some joy by singing carols in the marketplace on Monday the 23rd.
Barton’s festive celebrations will finish at Boughton under Blean Village Hall for a fun and interactive service on Christmas Day itself 10am – 11am. We hope to see you there.
As the winter draws in, the cost of living crisis continues to unfold, and energy bills soar, foodbank use this Christmas will undoubtedly rise. Over the past few years in Faversham we have taken part in the reverse advent where people can buy items or donate vouchers to the local food bank. Sunday 15th December will be the last collection date for the Faversham Foodbank. Click the button below to find out how to donate Tesco Gift Vouchers for the Foodbank.
